For those that don’t know us, my wife is a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings movies so when we decided to take a vacation to New Zealand there was no escaping the fact that we would be visiting Hobbiton and other Lord of the Rings relevant locations like the Weta Workshop in Wellington.  She took approximately 300 pictures during our two hour tour of Hobbiton but here I’ll just show some of the highlights.  I must say though that even though it rained the entire time we were there everyone had a good time (including our teenage niece who claims that Lord of the Rings is not cool) and I would recommend a visit if you are in the area and especially if you are fan of the movies.  These images were taken on June 12th, 2018.
